John Eales is one of rugby’s most successful captains, leading Australia to the 1991 and 1999 Rugby World Cup titles. A 6'7" lock known as “Nobody” (“because nobody’s perfect”), he combined dominant line‑out play with the rare skill of goal‑kicking, becoming Test rugby’s highest‑scoring forward. Eales captained the Wallabies 55 times, guiding them to Bledisloe Cup wins and the 2001 Lions series victory.
