I believe this is a pin from the 1962 Lions tour to South Africa.
My research tells me that these pins were not "stamped" i.e. did not have any markings to the reverse.
It is the standard Lions shield, with "British Lions" across the bottom.
The shield is 1.25 inches in height and the whole item including the "pin" is just under 2 inches long.
