05/02/1938 : Scotland v Wales Very good condition for age programme from this game between Scotland and Wales in 1938, played at Murrayfield. Programme is in very good condition, with no tears. Has a very small (quarter inch) crease in the bottom right hand corner. It has the score (8-6) written very neatly (and hardly noticeably) next to the team names. Programme is standard 8 side as was the norm then. Complete, thought one of the staples is missing and the other is rusty. Otherwise in excellent condition. A very very rare pre-war programme. Scotland won the game 8-6 with their try and conversion and dropped goal coming from W.H. Crawford. Price: £89.99 |

16/02/2003 : Scotland v Ireland Mint condition programme from this game at Murrayfield. Ireland laid down the gauntlet to their Six Nations' rivals as they romped to a record 36-6 win over Scotland at Murrayfield, stand-off David Humphreys contributing 26 points as the Irish laid their 18-year Murrayfield bogey to rest. It was Ireland's biggest win over Scotland ever - surpassing their 44-22 win in Dublin in 2000. Their previous best at Murrayfield had been 26-8 in 1953. The hoodoo was Murrayfield. Ireland won there last in 1985. They had lost there nine times since then. Price: £5.50 |
29/03/2003 : Scotland v Italy Mint condition programme from this RBS Six Nations clash at Murrayfield. Scotland ended their 2003 RBS Six Nations campaign with a hard-fought 33-25 win over the Azzurri of Italy at Murrayfield in Edinburgh. It was a furious, fast-paced match which though producing several moments of Barbarians-style adventure, also had plenty of hard-nosed graft to recommend it as the two sides avowed their intention to bow out of the 2003 Six Nations in fine style. Price: £5.50 |
